Animal Biosa – organic silage
additive
 Animal
Biosa is
an organic silage additive based on a herb mixture that
has been fermented with active, GMO free lactic acid
cultures (EU notified). Animal Biosa secures and
promotes a natural fermentation of the crops, meaning
that the water-soluble carbohydrates in the crops are
broken down and converted into organic acids (lactic
acid and acetic acid) and CO2. The fodder thus contains
only naturally occurring microorganisms (primarily
lactic acid bacteria). Only a very limited, if any,
amount of butyric acid is produced and through the
natural preservation with lactic acid, no further
preservatives like formic acid or benzoic acid are
needed.
